  • Free Backpacks & School Supplies: Upon registration, each child receives a free backpack filled with essential school supplies to start the year off right!
  • Health & Wellness Services:
    • Dental Cleanings: Free dental screenings and cleanings for children to ensure they’re ready for the school year.
    • Vaccinations: Stay up-to-date with required vaccines for the school year with free vaccinations available at the event.
    • Haircuts: Free back-to-school haircuts, so students can look and feel their best!
  • Over 40 Local Vendors: Visit a variety of booths featuring local businesses, health providers, community organizations, and resources for families.
  • Fun for the Whole Family:
    • Face Painting: Let your kids unleash their creativity with fun and colorful face painting.
    • Jump House: Kids will love jumping around in our inflatable jump house.
    • And Much More! Keep an eye out for additional surprises, games, and activities throughout the day.

Yes, each child has to be registered separately to receive their own supplies.

Students Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Does my child have to be registered in a Humboldt school?

No. All school aged children are welcome to come enjoy the event and prepare for their first day of school.

Is the event inside?

Yes, everything is indoors. However, the line for registration is outside and could be long. Be prepared to wait outside in the heat.

Does my child have to be present to receive a backpack?

No, the child does not have to be present to receive a backpack. However, The child does have to be register for the event.
